Description

Grapefruit is a subtropical citrus tree that is a native to Barbados. It is a hybrid of two citrus species — Pomelo (Citrus maxima) and Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis). It was called the “forbidden fruit” by Rev. Griffith Hughes in 1750. While in 1789, Patrick Browne referred to the fruit as “smaller shaddock.” It was not until 1814 when the botanist John Lunan named the fruit as Grapefruit in his work, Hortus Jamaicanensis. It is consumed across various cultures in different forms. In Costa Rica it is enjoyed as a dessert, while in Haiti it is used primarily for its juice and to make jam.

Grapefruit Essential Oil is well-known for its therapeutic qualities for which it is a common constituent of various cosmetic and personal-care products. It helps treat oily skin and acne. It nourishes the skin from within and brings out your natural glow. Moreover, it is rich in anti-oxidative and anti-bacterial properties that can prevent infections and heals wounds. It supports the immune system and improves energy levels.

Due to the presence of Limonene, Grapefruit Essential Oil exhibits anti-depressive properties. It can provide relief to people suffering from mental disorders like stress, anxiety, and lack of concentration. Regular usage can also help you uplift your mood and can make you feel calm. We recommend buying Grapefruit Essential Oil to experience a peaceful effect.
